06 Use of the Proscion platform
As part of the contractual use, we process data that arises in the advisory and intermediation process. In end-customer dialogues this may also include special categories of personal data (Art. 9 GDPR) — such as health information for supplementary health insurance.
Where Proscion acts for insurers or broker pools, processing takes place on behalf of the respective partner on the basis of a data-processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR). In these cases, the partner is the controller under data protection law.

For needs analysis and tariff recommendations, we use AI-assisted methods. The information provided in the dialogue is processed in order to generate suitable recommendations.
- There is no solely automated decision with legal effect within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR without appropriate safeguards; final sales are accompanied by human bodies.
- Inputs are not used to train models.
- Processing takes place in line with the EU AI Act and the IDD.

11 Storage period
We store personal data only for as long as is necessary for the respective purposes or as statutory retention periods (e.g. under commercial and tax law) require. Once the purpose no longer applies, the data is deleted or restricted.
